Your jewelry is precious, and proper care will ensure a lifetime of brilliance and sparkle. See our tips below to learn how to care for fine jewelry.

  • Take off your jewelry before your daily rituals such as: showering, applying lotion and perfume, using skincare, cleaning, gardening, cooking, sleeping, etc.

  • Leave your jewelry at home before engaging in strenuous or high-impact activities like outdoor sports or working out. A good reminder is if it's rough on your body, it's rough on your jewelry.

  • Do not wear your jewelry to the beach or pool to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals. It's best to keep your jewelry as dry as possible.

  • Exposure to makeup, oil and dyes can also diminish the sparkle of your jewelry.

  • One of the most common ways jewelry is damaged is by being scratched by other jewelry when stored improperly. Safely store in a fabric pouch, a separate section of your jewelry box, or in the Après box your

  • To spot clean, wipe down your jewelry with a dry gem cloth as needed. Après provides a complimentary cleaning cloth with every purchase.

  • For a deeper clean, use a soft-bristled toothbrush with dish soap and gently scrub the 14k gold and diamonds.
