Return Policy

We accept returns & exchanges for unworn goods in their original condition within 7 days of receiving the item. Items sent back after the 7 day period are accepted for store credit only.

Unfortunately at this time, we do not accept ANY RETURNS on Engagement Rings and Personalized Merchandise as these are considered a custom order.

To protect our jewelry and your return package, we will issue you a Return Label to make sure each package is insured properly for its value. Refunds will be credited to the original card used to purchase the order, excluding all shipping fees.

We reserve the right to refuse a return/exchange of any item that does not meet the above requirements.

Return Process for US Orders:

  1. Send an e-mail to orders@apresjewelry.com to request your pre-paid shipping label. Please note what item you are returning and the reason for the return.
  2. Put your jewelry back in a shipping box along with your invoice. Jewelry must be kept in the original packaging.
  3. Stick your prepaid label on the box.
  4. Get your packaged box to Fed Ex. Visit this link for locations.
  5. Once we receive your return, we will process your store credit code immediately.

Returns Process for International Orders:

  1. Send an e-mail to orders@apresjewelry.com requesting a return. Please note what item you are returning and the reason for the return.
  2. We will get back to you asap confirming your return and will provide further instructions.
  3. When filling out the Commercial Invoice for your return package, please mark the package as a Return to avoid customs charges.
  4. Seal the box and return it to us! Please save your tracking number in the event you need to track your package.

Cancelling an Order

If you need to cancel an order you must email us at orders@apresjewelry.com within 4 hours of when you place your order. Many pieces are custom made and once production begins on them they cannot be cancelled.


Orders and Shipping

Domestic Orders

We offer free Fed Ex Ground Shipping for all domestic orders over $500. To protect your jewelry package, we require a signature upon delivery for ALL packages. So please choose an address where you know someone will be present to sign for it. We will email you when your order is ready to make sure that it is delivered at a convenient time for you.

Sales tax is charged to orders shipped within California only, at the local tax rate. Orders shipped domestically outside of California are exempt from sales tax.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared 'Delivered' by the delivery service.

International Orders

We ship worldwide and offer Fed Ex and DHL shipping options for all international orders. Transit times are typically 3-7 days for international orders. Please note that the customer is responsible for any customs charges and we value all packages at the price you paid for them.

The order recipient is the importer on record and must comply with all laws, regulations and restrictions of the destination country. Prices and shipping fees do not include brokerage fees, import and customs duties, Value Added Taxes ("VAT"), tariffs, and other fees that may be levied by the destination country, all of which are the responsibility of the purchaser. Après Jewelry is not responsible for brokerage fees, import and customs duties, Value Added Taxes ("VAT"), tariffs, and any other associated fees.

All costs incurred on a refused delivery because of high custom or brokerage fees, duties, taxes or restrictions imposed by the country of destination are the responsibility of the purchaser.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared 'Delivered' by the delivery service.

Delivery Time

Please note that many of our items are made to order. Most items require 2-3 weeks for delivery, however more specific lead times should be noted on the product page of each item on the site. If you need your order shipped by a specific date, please e-mail us at orders@apresjewelry.com. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests and we appreciate your understanding and patience.



Repairs + Re-Sizing

We include a six month warranty and would be happy to repair any damages within this period. Please note that repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and additional charges may apply. At this time, we are unable to accept returns or repair requests on any items once they have been altered by a third party jeweler.

If you are outside the six month warranty, there is a $90 charge to cover shipping and handling both ways. Email us at orders@apresjewelry.com to initiate your repair and we’ll send you a shipping label. If you choose to ship your piece yourself, please be sure to insure your shipment and note that we are not responsible for any lost packages (we don’t recommend this!).

Ring Re-Sizing

If you need your ring re-sized, no problem! Just email us at orders@apresjewelry.com and we will send you a return label to send the ring back to us for re-sizing. Since we do offer free ring sizers on our site, we do charge a $90 resizing fee which we will send you a digital invoice for at the time of your request. (Please note: the resizing fee for engagement rings or custom jewelry is $150)

Cleaning + Care

Fine jewelry is delicate by nature and should be cared for accordingly. To extend the life of your jewelry, please follow these care instructions.

  • Take off your jewelry before your daily rituals such as: showering, lotion, perfume, etc.
  • Leave your jewelry at home before engaging in strenuous activities such as working out.
  • Do not wear your jewelry to the beach or the pool to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals.
  • Exposure to makeup, oil and dyes can diminish the sparkle of your jewelry.
  • Before bedtime, lay your jewelry out flat.
  • For necklaces, please clasp the necklace when removing it to assure the chain does not tangle or knot.
  • To clean your diamond jewelry, use a soft toothbrush with dish soap and gently scrub the 14k gold and diamonds.
